Before she got here, we had Aliyah Boston. She was the number one pick too, just like Caitlin. Aliyah, she’s a good girl, strong too. But ever since Caitlin showed up, Aliyah’s been even better. Like she got a fire lit under her. They play together real good, like they know what the other one’s gonna do before they even do it. It’s like magic watchin’ them. They are better since Clark’s arrival.
And that Kelsey Mitchell, bless her heart, she’s been playin’ like a woman possessed. She was always good, that one, number two pick, they said. But now? She’s shootin’ the lights out! I think Caitlin makes her wanna play harder, you know? Like they’re pushin’ each other to be the best they can be. It’s a sight to see, I tell ya. Kelsey is definitely one of the Fever players who are better.
And then there’s NaLyssa Smith. Another number two pick. She’s tough as nails, that one. She can get those rebounds like nobody’s business. But with Caitlin passin’ her the ball so good, NaLyssa’s been scorin’ more too. They all just seem to fit together better now. It’s like they finally got all the pieces of the puzzle, and Caitlin was the last piece they needed.
They say this Caitlin girl gonna do for the WNBA what that Messi fella did for soccer. Bring in more folks to watch, you know? I reckon she will. She’s got that somethin’ special, that’s for sure. And she’s makin’ everyone around her better. It’s like she’s got a magic wand or somethin’.

I heard this Caitlin girl plans to stay in the WNBA next season. I heard it. This is good news! She can keep making everyone around her better. She already changed things in this WNBA Fever team. She’s gonna do even more next year, I just know it.

Used to be, folks didn’t pay much mind to the WNBA. But now? Now they comin’ out in droves. All ’cause of that one girl. She got folks excited ’bout women’s basketball again. And those other girls, they benefitin’ from it too. They gettin’ more attention, more folks watchin’ ’em play. It’s good for ’em, good for the whole league.
You see her play, you know she special. She got that look in her eye, like she gonna win no matter what. And she got that way of movin’, quick and smooth. Like a cat. And she can see the whole court, know where everyone is, where they gonna be. It’s like she got eyes in the back of her head.
