Alright, let’s gab about these fellas playin’ basketball, you know, the white guys in the NBA. Folks keep askin’ ’bout ’em, so I figured I’d chew the fat a bit.
Now, you got this Luka Dončić fella. He’s a whippersnapper, real good with the ball. Folks say he’s somethin’ special, always flinging’ the ball and makin’ it go in the hoop. He’s from over yonder, not from around here, that’s for sure. But he sure can play, no doubt about it.
Then there’s Nikola Jokic. Big fella, strong as an ox. He ain’t jumpin’ all over the place like some of them young’uns, but he’s smart, real smart. He sees things on the court other fellas don’t. And he’s got soft hands, can make those tricky passes. They say he’s one of the best, and I reckon they ain’t lyin’.
And don’t forget about Joe Harris. Now, he’s a shooter, pure and simple. He stands out there, and if you leave him open, it’s goin’ in. Just swish! He’s one of them fellas you gotta keep an eye on, or he’ll make you pay.
- Another one they talk about is Alex Caruso. He’s a hustler, that one. Always scrappin’ and fightin’ for the ball. He ain’t the flashiest fella, but he gets the job done. He’s the kind of player every team needs, you know, the one who does the dirty work.
- And then there’s Kevin Huerter. Another good shooter, like that Harris fella. He can knock down those threes, that’s for sure. He’s got a nice touch, and he’s always movin’, tryin’ to get open. He’s a valuable player to have on any team.
Some folks, they remember fellas from back in the day. Like that Larry Bird fella. They say he was the best white player ever. I didn’t see him play much myself, but the old-timers, they swear by him. Said he was somethin’ else.
And there’s Jerry West, another one from way back when. He was a good one too, they say. Fast and could score with the best of ’em. These fellas, they paved the way for the young’uns today. They were the real deal.
You got Dirk Nowitzki too. Tall fella, real tall. He could shoot over just about anybody. He played a long time, and he was always good. He’s one of them fellas who stuck with one team his whole career, which is somethin’ you don’t see much anymore.
John Stockton, now there was a passer. He could thread the needle, they say. Always knew where his teammates were gonna be. And he was tough, played hard every game. He played a long time and was very successful with another legend, Karl Malone.
And Rick Barry, he was before my time, but I heard stories. They say he shot underhanded, which is kinda strange, but it worked for him. He was a scorer, that’s for sure. And very successful in his time.
Nowadays, you got fellas like Bogdan Bogdanovic. He’s another one from overseas. Good shooter, good all-around player. He’s a solid contributor and can help any team win.
And some folks talk about Porzingis, another big fella. He can shoot and block shots, which is a good combination. He’s had some injuries, but when he’s healthy, he’s a force to be reckoned with.
Gordon Hayward, he’s been around a while. He’s had some ups and downs, but he’s still a good player. He can score, pass, and rebound. He’s a good veteran presence on a team.
And Kevin Love, he’s been a good player for a long time. He can shoot and rebound, and he’s got a good basketball IQ. He’s won a championship and has been a part of some very successful teams.
So, there you have it. A whole bunch of these white fellas playin’ in the NBA. Some young, some old, some flashy, some not so flashy. But they’re all good players, and they’re all makin’ their mark on the game. It’s a good thing to see, folks from all over comin’ together to play this game we all love. It’s a blessin’, it surely is.
Now, they say the league is mostly black fellas, and that’s true, but there’s room for everybody. These white players, they’re holdin’ their own, and they’re makin’ us proud. And that’s all that matters, ain’t it?
