Hot NFL Players 2023, Eh? Let me tell ya somethin’ ’bout these football fellas.
It’s that time of year again, they say. Folks get all worked up ’bout these football players. Hot players, they call ’em. Well, I reckon hot means good, right? Like a hot stove, cooks yer food good. These fellas, they play good, I guess. NFL, that’s the big leagues, right? Like the big city, but for football.
I heard tell of this Josh Allen fella. Plays for them Buffalo Bills. Quarterback, they say. That means he throws the ball, I think. And he’s got himself a gal, some actress named Hailee somethin’. Good for him, I say. A good woman keeps a man outta trouble, most times. Unless she’s the trouble, ha! Anyway, this Josh fella, he must be pretty good if folks are talkin’ ’bout him. And he’s hot, they say. Maybe he just runs around a lot, gets all sweaty. That’s hot, ain’t it?
- Josh Allen – Quarterback, Buffalo Bills. Got a fancy gal, seems like a good fella.
Then there’s this Braxton Berrios. Says he’s a wide receiver. I don’t rightly know what that means. He catches the ball, I guess. Maybe he runs real fast, stretches out wide to grab it. Sounds tiring. He must be strong, these football players are. Big fellas, most of ’em. Gotta be strong to throw that ball and run around like they do.

Now, they got these lists, you know? Top players. Top 100, top 15. I don’t keep track, too many numbers for my old head. But they argue ’bout who’s the best. Like arguin’ ’bout who bakes the best pie at the county fair. Everyone’s got their opinion, I reckon.
David Carr, he’s another fella, talks ’bout these players. Offensive players, he says. That means they’re tryin’ to score, I think. Not like them defense fellas, tryin’ to stop ’em. It’s like a game of tag, but real rough and tumble. David Carr, he ranks ’em, puts ’em in order. Says who’s the best. Must be a smart fella, knows his football.
They got rookies too. Young fellas, just startin’ out. Like young calves, just learnin’ to walk. Some of ’em are good, real good. Makes you wonder how they got so good so fast. Practice, I guess. And talent. Some folks are just born with it, like a knack for growin’ prize-winning tomatoes.
This 2023 season, they say, lots of good players. Every team’s got at least one, they tell me. That’s a lot of fellas. Must be hard to keep track. But folks do, they love their football. They cheer and holler and paint their faces. It’s somethin’ else, let me tell ya. All this fuss over fellas throwin’ a ball and runnin’ around. But I guess it’s entertainin’, keeps folks happy. And that ain’t a bad thing, is it? As long as they don’t get hurt too bad. These fellas, they put their bodies on the line, that’s for sure. Brave boys, I reckon. Or maybe just crazy, ha!
So, who’s hot? Well, I guess anyone playin’ their heart out, that’s hot to me. Workin’ hard, doin’ their best. That’s what matters, ain’t it? Whether it’s football or farmin’ or bakin’ a pie. Just do yer best, and you’ll be alright. That’s what I always say.
And them fellas with the fancy names and the big muscles, well, they’re just doin’ their job, I guess. Entertainin’ folks, makin’ a livin’. And if they happen to be hot while they’re doin’ it, well, that’s just a bonus, ain’t it?
