Okay, so, I’ve been digging into old NBA stuff lately, and today I decided to look up the 2007 Blazers roster. It’s kind of wild to see how much the team has changed since then.

First thing I did was hit up a few sports stats sites. I just typed in “2007 Blazers Roster” into the search engine, you know, the usual. I found a couple of sites, like Basketball-Reference, that had the info I was looking for. They listed out all the players, their positions, jersey numbers, all that stuff. I wanted to know about the 2006-07 season and the 2007-08 season, and luckily, they had both.
I started jotting down some names, like Travis Outlaw. Turns out, he was a first-round pick back in 2003. And then there was Nate McMillan, who was the coach at the time. I made a little list of all the players, and it was pretty long, like 17 names or something.
- Travis Outlaw
- Nate McMillan
Then, I got curious about the bigger picture, like, who were some of the all-time greats for the Blazers. I stumbled upon a list of Hall of Famers who played for them, including Bill Walton. Apparently, he was a big deal, even winning the Finals MVP in ’77.
- Lenny Wilkens
- Bill Walton
- Clyde Drexler
- Dražen Petrović
- Arvydas Sabonis
- Scottie Pippen
It’s kind of interesting to see how the team’s evolved over the years. Some of the names from 2007 are totally new to me. I also found out that they had some pretty good seasons back then, winning a decent number of games. The stats were all there, and I could even sort them by different categories, like points per game or whatever.
Summary
In the end, I managed to get a pretty good look at the 2007 Blazers roster. It was a fun little trip down memory lane, even though I wasn’t really following basketball that closely back then. It’s cool to learn about the history of the team and see how things have changed.
