Alright, let’s talk about this here… uh… Loud versus Sen thing. My grandson, he keeps yellin’ about it, so I figured I’d try and make sense of it all.

So, from what I gather, it’s one of them computer game contests, like them fellas are shootin’ at each other in a fake world or somethin’. Valorant, they call it. Sounds like a fancy word for make-believe shootin’ to me.
Now, these two teams, Loud and Sen… sounds like a dog barkin’ and a fella’s name. Anyways, they went at it, hammer and tongs, in this here game. My grandson said somethin’ about “maps” like “Sunset,” “Split,” “Icebox,” “Bind,” and “Lotus.” Sounds like a travel agent’s brochure, not a battlefield!
From what I hear, it was a real nail-biter, back and forth, they was. Sen, they won in the end, 3 to 2. Grandson said the score was like that. Took ’em a whole bunch of them maps to figure it out. And this fella, TenZ, he was the big shot, the MVP they called him. Means “Most Valuable Player,” I guess. He must’ve been doin’ some fancy shootin’.
- The matches went somethin’ like this, if I got it right:
- First, they was on Sunset, then Split.
- Then they went to Icebox, and after that, Bind.
- Finally, they finished up on Lotus.
Now, some folks were sayin’ Loud was gonna win for sure. They said Sen didn’t stand a chance on them maps like Ascent or Lotus. But, wouldn’t you know it, Sen pulled it off. Shows you can’t always listen to them know-it-alls, huh?
My grandson, he was real worked up, sayin’ things like “stats” and “streams.” I don’t know nothin’ ’bout that. Just sounds like gibberish to me. But he said Sen, they won some big tournament thingy in Madrid. Beat some other team called Gen.G. And won a whole heap of money, $250,000! That’s a lot of chickens, let me tell ya.
Folks are sayin’ Sen is the best in the world now. The absolute best. Can’t argue with that, I guess, seein’ as they won and all. Makes sense. If you win, you’re the best. That’s how it works, ain’t it?

So, that’s the story as I understand it. Loud and Sen, fightin’ it out on them computer maps. Sen won, TenZ was the star, and they got a whole pile of money. And my grandson? Well, he’s happy as a clam, so I guess that’s all that matters. Though I still think they’d be better off gettin’ some fresh air and sunshine instead of starin’ at that screen all day. But what do I know? I’m just an old woman tryin’ to make sense of this crazy world.
Sen is the best? Maybe so. But back in my day, the best was the one who could plow the field fastest. These young’uns and their computer games… I tell ya!
But hey, if they’re havin’ fun and not causin’ trouble, I guess it’s alright. Just hope they don’t forget how to do real work, that’s all. This whole “esports” thing… it’s a whole new world, ain’t it? Just gotta try and keep up, even if it don’t make a lick of sense sometimes.
Anyways, that’s my two cents on this Loud versus Sen business. Hope it made some kind of sense to ya. If not, well, you ain’t missin’ much. Just a bunch of young folks shootin’ at each other on a screen. Nothin’ to get too worked up about, if you ask me.
