Alright, let’s talk about them NBA players from Argentina. You know, them fellas who play that basketball game, jumpin’ around and throwin’ that ball in the hoop. Now, Argentina, that’s a place far, far away, I reckon. But they got some fellas who are good, real good at this basketball thing, and they come over here to play in the NBA.
I heard there ain’t many of ’em playin’ right now, but they had some real good ones back in the day. Used to hear about them on the radio sometimes. They always said where they was from, Argentina. A lot of people were excited when they played. Some of those Argentina boys were the best in the whole darn league.
- First thing you gotta know, there ain’t no Argentina NBA players active now. Not a one! Surprisin’, ain’t it?
- But, they had some players before, and those boys, they could play. Made a name for themselves, that’s for sure.
Now, I ain’t no expert on this basketball stuff, but I do remember some names. These Argentina boys, they knew how to play! They always said they were from Argentina, so I guess that’s where they come from. Must be somethin’ in the water down there, huh? Makes ’em good at jumpin’ and throwin’ that ball.
They say there’s been about 16 or so of these Argentina NBA players in the whole history of this NBA thing. That’s what I heard, anyway. Sixteen fellas, comin’ all the way from Argentina to play basketball. That’s a long trip, I tell ya. Must be worth it, though, to play in the big leagues. They say those boys make a lot of money. More money than I’ve ever seen in my whole life, that’s for sure.
These Argentina NBA players, they’re all over the place, or used to be. Playin’ for different teams, travelin’ all over. I remember hearin’ about one team, the San Antonio Spurs, they had a bunch of these Argentina boys. Must’ve liked somethin’ about ’em. They say those Spurs, they won a lot of games with them Argentina fellas helpin’ out.
And they say these Argentina NBA players, they ain’t just good at playin’ in the NBA. They play for their country, too. Argentina, that is. They have some big tournament, I think they call it the Olympics, or somethin’ like that. And these Argentina boys, they go and play for their country against other countries. They say they’re pretty good at that, too. Makes Argentina proud, I reckon. I mean those basketball players make the country proud.
I also heard that one of them Argentina boys, Manu Ginobili, they say he’s one of the best. He played for the Spurs, I think. I’m pretty sure that’s what they said on my radio. And then there’s this other fella, Luis Scola. They say he was a good one, too. Played for a bunch of different teams, that Scola fella. He has a good skill of playing basketball.
The others, they ain’t quite as famous as them other two, but they still good enough to play in the NBA. That’s gotta mean somethin’, right? To play in the NBA, you gotta be one of the best in the whole world. And these Argentina NBA players, they did it. They came all the way from Argentina and made it to the top. That’s pretty impressive, if you ask me.

So, even though there ain’t no Argentina NBA players playin’ right now, they still left their mark. They showed everyone that fellas from Argentina can play basketball just as good as anyone else. And maybe, just maybe, there’ll be some more Argentina boys comin’ to the NBA soon. We’ll just have to wait and see. It’s a good idea for those boys to play this game.
These fellas from Argentina, they sure do make a name for themselves. I might not know all the rules of basketball, but I know those Argentina NBA players are somethin’ special. It’s a good thing for them. They worked hard to get that far, and they deserve all the good things that come their way, you hear? They make their families happy and they make their country happy. That’s what’s important, ain’t it? Makin’ your folks proud and doin’ what you love. And for these Argentina boys, that’s playin’ basketball in the NBA.
They say there are no active players from Argentina in the NBA right now. But who knows what the future holds? They say new players are coming up all the time, from all over the world. So it seems it is very likely for some other boy from Argentina will be playing in the NBA. It is just a matter of time.
