Okay, so, I’ve been digging into this whole 2010 running backs thing. It’s been a trip down memory lane, let me tell you. I wanted to see who really stood out that year, you know? Who were the guys making the big plays and racking up the yards?

First, I started by looking at some general info about running backs in the 2010s. Just to get a feel for the era. I found that running backs are some of the most respected players in the NFL, and there are some good ones during this period. Then, I focused on 2010 specifically. This is where it got interesting.
I decided to make a list. I started by listing out names that kept popping up. You got your big names like Adrian Peterson, of course. The dude was a beast. He even made All-Pro twice, in 2008 and 2009. It sounds like he was a force to be reckoned with in 2010, too.
Then I dug a little deeper. I wanted stats, numbers, something concrete. I came across a few different rankings. Some were by season, some were for the whole decade.
- Arian Foster from the Houston Texans was another name that kept showing up. Apparently, he had the most rushing yards in 2010, with 1 yard. Whoa!
- Peyton Hillis from the Cleveland Browns was also up there. I didn’t know much about him, but the stats don’t lie. He must have been pretty good.
Diving into the Data
So, I started compiling all this info into a spreadsheet. Yeah, I’m a bit of a nerd like that. I wanted to see how these guys stacked up against each other, based on different metrics. Rushing yards, touchdowns, yards per carry, all that good stuff. It was a lot of data to sift through.
I also found some detailed stats on some of the lesser-known players. Like, did you know Jahvid Best had 945 rushing yards in 2010? Or that LeGarrette Blount had 6,306? It’s crazy how many players there are, all grinding it out, trying to make a name for themselves.
After spending hours with these numbers, I realized it’s not just about the big names. Every player has their own story, their own journey. It’s a tough game, and these guys are putting their bodies on the line every week.

So, that’s where I’m at with this project. I’ve got a bunch of data, a lot of names, and a newfound respect for these 2010 running backs. It’s been a fun ride, and I’m excited to see what else I uncover.
It is really a mess when I look into these numbers, but it turns out to be fun. I will keep digging on to see what else I can find.
