Alright, alright, let’s gab a bit about these football fellas, the ones all the young’uns are gaga over. You know, the hot white NFL players. Don’t ask me why, but seems like everyone’s always yappin’ about ’em.
Now, I ain’t no expert, mind you. I just watch the games sometimes when there ain’t nothin’ else on the TV. But even I can see some of these boys are, well, easy on the eyes, as they say. Like that Jimmy Garoppolo fella, plays quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders, I think. He’s always smilin’, got that kinda face that makes ya think he’s up to somethin’, but in a good way, ya know? He’s definitely up there on the list, number one, folks say. Always see his picture in them magazines at the grocery store checkout.
Then there’s that Cooper Kupp kid. A real whippersnapper, but boy, can he catch that ball! Plays wide receiver, runs all over the place like a chicken with its head cut off. He’s from somewheres out west, Yakima Washington, they say. People are always hollerin’ his name. Seems like a nice young man, all-American type. Gotta give him credit, he’s a good player and got those looks the girls like. He’s definitely one of them top white wide receivers, probably top 50 even, though lord knows how many of ’em there are runnin’ around out there.
- Quarterbacks: They’re the bosses, the ones throwin’ the ball. Gotta be smart and tough. And some of ‘em are right handsome, too. Like that Garoppolo fella I was talkin’ about. There’s others too, but I can’t always keep track of their names.
- Wide Receivers: These boys are fast, gotta be to catch that ball. Kupp, he’s one of them. They gotta be agile and have good hands, and it don’t hurt if they’re easy on the eyes neither.
- Other Positions: Shoot, there’s all kinds of players out there. Big fellas, little fellas, all shapes and sizes. Some are fast, some are strong, some are just plain mean lookin’. But a few of ’em, no matter what they play, they got that somethin’ special, that makes the ladies swoon.
Now, I heard some folks talkin’ about how those “Swifties,” that’s what they call them fans of that singer girl, they like a certain type of fella. Said they like the “regular lookin’ white guys.” I ain’t sure what that means exactly, but I guess it means they ain’t lookin’ for nothin’ too fancy, just a good ol’ boy, maybe? I don’t know nothin’ about that, just what I hear tell. Seems kinda silly to me, but young folks got their own ways, I reckon.
There was another fella, Mychal Kendricks, I think his name was. Don’t see him playin’ no more, though. Maybe he retired, maybe he went off to do somethin’ else. He was a good-lookin’ boy too, as I recall. Hard to keep up with all these players, they come and go so fast. One minute they’re the stars, the next minute they’re nobody.
And don’t forget, some of these fellas, they ain’t all white. Like that Jalen Hurts fella, plays for Philadelphia. A real powerhouse, that one. And that other boy, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, they say he’s the “most stylish.” Don’t know what that means, but he must be somethin’ special. Now, this here article is supposed to be about the white players, but it just goes to show ya, there’s all kinds of talent out there, and all kinds of fellas catchin’ folks’ attention.
Anyways, it’s all a bit of a mystery to me, this whole “hot player” thing. But I guess it’s just part of the fun of watchin’ the games. Folks like to have somethin’ to talk about, somethin’ to admire. And if a few of these NFL players are easy on the eyes, well, who am I to complain? They work hard, they play hard, and they deserve a little admiration, I reckon. Whether they’re white, black, or purple for all I care, as long as they play a good game and don’t cause no trouble.
So there ya have it, my two cents on these hot white NFL players. Not that my two cents is worth much, mind you. But it’s all I got to offer. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make myself some supper. All this talk about football and handsome fellas has made me hungry!
