Then there’s that, uh, what’s his name? Oh yeah, Ezekiel Elliott. He’s still playing, that one. He good at running with the ball, I’ll give him that. He rush good in 2016 and 2018. Wears number 21, just like that other Cowboy fella, I forgot his name. But some folks, they just don’t like him. Maybe it’s ’cause he’s too good, I don’t know. Some folks are just like that, you know? Jealous, I guess.
And what about that Cam Newton? He sure got people talking. Some folks love him, some folks hate him. He’s one of them polarizing fellas, I guess you could say. It is so hard to say he is one of the most hated nfl players. He like to show off, that one. And he talks a lot. That rubs some people the wrong way. But hey, that’s just him, I reckon. Now, there was this receiver, Terrell Owens, T.O. they called him. Fast, strong, good hands. But he was always causing trouble. Fighting with his teammates, arguing with the coaches, doing crazy stuff on the field. He was good, real good, but he just couldn’t stay out of trouble. Folks got tired of his act, I guess. And remember that Michael Vick? He was a quarterback, real fast, could run like the wind. But then he got in trouble for that dogfighting thing. That was bad, real bad. Let’s see, who else? Oh, that Vontaze Burfict. He played linebacker, and he was mean, too. Always hitting people late, trying to hurt ’em. Got suspended a bunch of times. Folks said he was dangerous. Then there’s these fellas, they get on the list just ’cause they play for certain teams. Like, if you play for the Dallas Cowboys, some folks gonna hate you just ’cause you’re a Cowboy. Same with the New England Patriots, when Tom Brady was there. It ain’t fair, but that’s just how it is. People get jealous, I guess. They don’t like to see other teams winning all the time.
