Well, let me tell you, them Arizona Cardinals, they had a whole bunch of quarterbacks over the years. Some good, some not so good, you know how it is. I seen a lot of ’em come and go. Like that one fella, what was his name? Oh, I forget now, but he was a good one.
They was called somethin’ else before, too. Phoenix Cardinals, I think? And then St. Louis Cardinals, way back when. Yeah, they moved around more than a stray dog lookin’ for scraps. But they always been playin’ football, that’s for sure. One thing I know is Arizona Cardinals past quarterbacks, they all tried their best. That’s all you can ask for, right?
That one year, 1995, I think it was, they had a season. Wasn’t the best, wasn’t the worst. They played hard, though, them Arizona Cardinals boys. Always do. Tough bunch. They had to be, football’s a rough game. Not like sittin’ around playin’ cards, that’s for sure.
And then there was that young fella, Kyler Murray. He’s the one they got now, I believe. Fast as a rabbit, that one. He can sure run with that ball. He’s one of them Arizona Cardinals starting quarterbacks. Hope he does good for ’em. They need a good one, them Cardinals.
That Carson Palmer, he was a good one too. Remember him? He was playin’ back in 2015, I reckon. He could throw that ball a mile. Strong arm on that one. Yeah, he was one of the top Arizona Cardinals past quarterbacks, that’s for sure. Made some real good plays, that one did.
I remember back in, oh, what was it, 2018? They got this other fella, Bradford. Signed him up to be the big cheese, the starting quarterback. Didn’t last long, though. Only played a few games. Guess it just wasn’t meant to be. It’s like bakin’ a pie, sometimes it just don’t turn out right, no matter how good the recipe is. So he is also one of the Arizona Cardinals past quarterbacks.

They all played for them Arizona Cardinals, or whatever they was called back then. It’s hard to keep track sometimes. They played in that National Football League, that’s the big one. All them teams playin’ against each other. It’s a big deal, I guess.
These boys, playin’ for the Cardinals, they gotta be tough. It ain’t easy, runnin’ around out there, gettin’ tackled and all. But they do it. They get out there and they give it their all.
Yeah, them Arizona Cardinals past quarterbacks, they got a history, that’s for sure. Been around a long time, that team. Seen a lot of players come and go. Just like life, I guess. Folks come and go, but the memories stay. It’s like that old quilt I got, made up of all different pieces. Each piece tells a story. Them quarterbacks, they each a piece of that Cardinals quilt.
This football, it ain’t like it used to be. But I still like to watch them Arizona Cardinals play. It brings back memories. Like that time, oh, I forget when it was, but they had this quarterback, and he threw the ball, and, well, it was somethin’ else. I can’t recall his name, but he sure could play.
So many games, so many players. That Arizona Cardinals, they got a long history, that’s for sure. Some of them old-timers, they probably knew some of them players from way back. They could tell you some stories, I bet. I’m sure there are many Arizona Cardinals past quarterbacks. They probably got some stories about them too.
Well, I reckon I’ve rambled on enough. Just thinkin’ about them Arizona Cardinals and all them quarterbacks they had. Good times, bad times, they seen it all. And they’ll keep on playin’, long after I’m gone. That’s the way it goes, I guess. Just like the seasons, they come and go. But that football, it just keeps on rollin’.
