Okay, so today I wanted to dig into something that’s been on my mind for a while – the 2009 Philadelphia 76ers roster. I remember watching them play back then, and I was curious to see how the team looked on paper.

First off, I started by looking up the roster. I kind of went all over the place, checking out a bunch of different websites. I wanted to get a good feel for who was on the team, you know?
I found a few sites that had the full roster listed. It was cool to see all the names, like Andre Iguodala, Samuel Dalembert, and others. I also saw their jersey numbers, positions, and even their birthdays. It was like getting to know the team all over again.
Players I remembered:
- Andre Iguodala: I remember he was a big scorer for the team. I looked it up, and yeah, he scored 1,401 points that season. That’s a lot!
- Samuel Dalembert: This guy was a beast on the boards. I saw he had 784 rebounds that year.
It was also interesting to see some basic stats, like points, rebounds, and assists. Andre Iguodala led the team in scoring and assists, which made sense to me. I always thought he was a pretty well-rounded player.
I spent a good chunk of time just browsing through the player profiles. I was trying to refresh my memory and see if there were any players I had forgotten about. And of course, there were a few.
In the end, I felt like I had a pretty good grasp of the 2009 76ers roster. It was fun to take a trip down memory lane and see how the team was put together. I even started thinking about how they might have matched up against other teams from that era.
Maybe next time, I’ll do a deep dive into some of their games from that season. It would be cool to see how these guys actually played together and if my memory serves me right about their performance. I kind of remember that it was not a good season, but I can check it out next time.

Anyway, that’s all for now. Just wanted to share my little basketball history project with you all. Hope you enjoyed it!
