Today, I wanna talk about something a bit different – the 2015 Memphis Grizzlies roster. Yeah, I know, it’s a bit of a throwback, but I got into a rabbit hole the other day and it was a fun trip down memory lane.

So, first thing I did was try to remember who was even on that team. My brain’s not what it used to be, you know? I could picture Mike Conley running the point, and of course, Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol were the big men holding it down in the paint. But the rest? Fuzzy.
That’s when I hit up the internet. I started with a general search, just typing in “memphis grizzlies 2015 roster”. Boom! A bunch of sites popped up. I clicked around a few of them, getting a feel for the landscape.
- One site mentioned that Conley was the Grizzlies’ all-time leading scorer. Wow, didn’t realize he had that many points. Impressive.
- Another one had their record for that season – 55 wins and 27 losses. Pretty darn good, if you ask me. They made it to the Western Conference Semifinals but lost.
Then I dug a little deeper. I found a site that had the full roster, complete with jersey numbers, positions, and even their birthdays. That’s when it all started coming back to me. There was Tony Allen, “The Grindfather” himself, locking down the perimeter. Courtney Lee was there, too, providing some solid shooting.
Putting It All Together
I started piecing together the roster in my head, like a puzzle. Then I grabbed a pen and paper – yeah, I’m old school like that – and started jotting it all down.
It was a fun little exercise, seeing all those names again. It brought back memories of watching those games, the excitement, the grit and grind style they were famous for. I even checked each player’s average stats in regular season and playoffs.
It might seem like a random thing to do, looking up an old basketball roster. But for me, it was a nice little escape, a way to reminisce about a team I enjoyed watching. Plus, it’s always fun to test your memory and see how much you can recall. I think that’s a fantastic and unforgetable experience!
Anyway, that’s my little adventure for the day. Maybe next time I’ll dive into a different team or a different year. Who knows where the internet will take me?
