Now, if you wanna play like these Bosnian basketball players, you gotta work hard. It ain’t easy, you know. You gotta practice dribbling, that’s bouncing the ball. You have to practice shooting that ball too. They say good footwork is a must. Ain’t that a funny word? Footwork. But it’s important, moving your feet all the time, they say.
I don’t know much about the rules, but they say you gotta know them. There’s a whole book of rules, I hear. Don’t know why they need so many rules, but they got ’em. If you are just starting out, learn the basics, I guess. Learn to dribble, shoot, pass, and do that footwork thing. This will take you a long way, or so I am told. That is a good start.

The Bosnian national team, they play all over the world too. I don’t know how good they are, but they play against all them other countries. They must be pretty good to do that, right? Playing for your country, that’s a big deal. Bosnian basketball players are proud to play for their country.
They got all these names, these teams. I can’t keep up with all of ’em. But I know there’s a bunch of teams in Bosnia, and they all play each other. It’s a big thing over there, basketball. It’s like how we like our football, they love their basketball. Everyone knows about basketball.

There are so many players, it’s hard to keep track of ’em all. They come and they go, playing here and there. Some play in Bosnia, some play in other countries. They say basketball in Bosnia is only gettin’ bigger. More and more kids are playin’, and they’re gettin’ better and better. Maybe one day they’ll be the best in the world. Who knows? It could happen. That would be something, wouldn’t it?
They got all these young players comin’ up, learnin’ from the older ones. They watch ’em on TV and they wanna be just like ’em. It’s a good thing, keeps ’em out of trouble, I reckon. Bosnian basketball players are role models, you see. The kids look up to them. That’s a good thing.
