Okay, so today I was looking at the odds for the Sebastian Korda vs Rinky Hijikata match at the ATP Queen’s Club Championships. It seems like everybody thinks Korda is going to win this one, and I gotta say, I agree.

First off, I checked a couple of different betting sites. One site had Korda’s odds at 1.15, and another had him at 1.16. That basically means if you bet on Korda and he wins, you won’t win a whole lot of money because he’s such a heavy favorite. But, a win’s a win, right?
I started to dig into why Korda is the favorite.
- I found out that he’s ranked higher than Hijikata in the ATP rankings. That’s a pretty big deal because it generally means he’s a better player, simple as that.
- Then I saw that one of these predictive models gives Korda an 82% chance of winning. That’s huge!
So, I went into this thinking Korda had a good shot, but now I’m pretty much convinced.
Here’s what I did next:
I watched some highlights of both players. I watched Korda’s last two matches, and man, he had to fight for those wins. But he played some tough guys and came out on top, and that’s what matters.
Hijikata, on the other hand, I watched his highlights, too. He seems decent, but it’s nothing special to be honest. I think he’s gonna have a tough time against Korda.
Finally, I decided to put my money where my mouth is. I placed a small bet on Korda to win in straight sets. I think he’ll take care of business and win this one pretty easily.

I’ll keep you all updated on how the bet goes. Wish me luck!
