Alright, let’s talk about them fellas, you know, the ones who kicked the ball around for them big teams – Juventus, Barcelona, and Real Madrid. Folks call ‘em fancy names, but to me, they just fellas running ‘round a field.

Now, you got this fella, what was his name… Higuain, yeah, Gonzalo Higuain. He played a good long while for Real Madrid, like, seven seasons, they tell me. That’s a heap of games, over two hundred, they say. Then he went off to Juventus for a spell, another three seasons. Kicked the ball around there too, a hundred and forty-something games, imagine that! He musta been tired, all that runnin’.
Real Madrid, Juventus, them’s big names, ya know? They always winnin’ stuff, or almost winnin’ stuff. I heard tell that only Real Madrid and Barcelona been to more of them Europe finals than Juventus. Them Europe finals, they must be somethin’ special, everyone gettin’ all worked up over ‘em.
Then there’s this other fella, Di Maria. Angel, they call him. Like he’s some kinda saint. He played for Real Madrid too, four seasons, they say. Not as long as that Higuain fella, but still a good while. Then he went to Juventus for just one season, short and sweet, like a good corn cob. Played a few games there, forty or so.
- Real Madrid: Higuain – lots of games, Di Maria – some games.
- Juventus: Higuain – more games, Di Maria – not so many games.
Now, there’s talk about winnin’ stuff. Them clubs, they win a lot. Heard tell Juventus, Milan, Bayern Munich, and that Atletico Madrid bunch, they always comin’ in second. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride, as they say. Manchester United too, they’re in there somewhere.
Let me tell you ‘bout another one, Laudrup. Now he was somethin’ else. He played for all sorts, Ajax, Barcelona, Real Madrid AND Juventus. All them big names! He was one of them fancy fellas in the middle, attackin’ they say. He won all sorts of titles with all them teams. Guess he was a good runner too.
It’s kinda hard to keep track of all these fellas, jumpin’ from team to team like fleas on a dog. But they must be good, real good, to play for them big clubs. Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus… They sound important. Makes you wonder what they eat to make ‘em run so fast and kick that ball so hard. Probably not just cornbread and beans, like us folks.

Panucci, that’s another name. He played for Milan, won that big Europe thing against Barcelona, then went off to Real Madrid. Always on the side, left or right, doesn’t matter. Seems like all these fellas just keep passin’ through them same teams. Must be a small world, that football world.
So, you got all these fellas, runnin’ ‘round, kickin’ balls, winnin’ stuff, and movin’ from one big team to another. Higuain, Di Maria, Laudrup, Panucci… They all played for Juventus, Barcelona, or Real Madrid, sometimes two, sometimes even all three. It’s a lot to take in, all this football business.
Makes ya think though, all that runnin’ and kickin’, for what? A shiny cup? A pat on the back? Must be more to it than that, I reckon. Maybe they just like runnin’ and kickin’. Who knows? I sure don’t. But they sure do keep them folks entertained, that’s for sure.
Anyways, that’s what I know about them fellas who played for Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid. Just a bunch of fellas runnin’ around, kickin’ a ball, and movin’ from one team to another. Hope that makes some sense to ya’ll.
