Well, let me tell ya, this Jocelyn Alo girl, she’s somethin’ else. Used to play for that Oklahoma City team, real good hitter, everyone says. Now, she’s gonna play with this “Athletes Unlimited” group. Don’t rightly know what that is, sounds fancy, but they say she’s gonna be hittin’ softballs for them.
Heard she’s real good. They say she hit more home runs than anyone else in college ball, like, ever. That’s a lot of home runs, I reckon. Must be strong as an ox, that girl. And she won two championships, back to back. Folks ‘round here say that’s a big deal.
This Athletes Unlimited thing, they got this AUX thing goin’ on in June. Sounds like a summer league or somethin’. Jocelyn, she’s gonna be playin’ in it. Guess she likes hittin’ them softballs. Can’t blame her, it’s fun to watch ‘em fly.
She’s from some place called Hauula, in Hawaii I think. That’s way out there, across the water. She played for Oklahoma in college. Good school, they say. Always winnin’ at softball.
- They even said she was the best college softball player two times! That’s somethin’, ain’t it?
- And get this, she started every single game one year! Played all over the field, too. Hit the ball real far, more than anyone else. That’s how ya win games, I guess.
Now, she played for some team called the Vipers, that sounds scary. And then, they also said something about her playing with the Savannah Bananas. Bananas? That’s a funny name for a team. Don’t know much about them Bananas, but if Jocelyn’s playin’ for ‘em, they must be alright.
This girl, she’s got a big family too, four brothers and sisters, I heard. Comes from good people, I bet. They must be proud of her, all that hittin’ and winnin’. I’d be proud if she was my grandkid, that’s for sure.
She was gonna play with Athletes Unlimited a while back, but then she went to play with that Vipers team instead. Now she’s back with Athletes Unlimited. Guess she changed her mind. Happens to the best of us, I reckon.
And this Oklahoma City Spark team, she’s gonna play with them too. That’s good, keeps her close to home, sort of. They say she’ll be back with them next year too. Guess they like havin’ her around.
So, that’s the story on this Jocelyn Alo girl. Real good softball player, hits the ball a mile, wins championships. Now she’s playin’ for Athletes Unlimited and the Spark. Good for her, I say. Go get ‘em, girl! Show ‘em how it’s done.
Folks around here really like watchin’ her play. She brings excitement to the game, they say. And that’s important, you know? Keeps things interesting.
Anyway, that’s all I know about it. Just a good ol’ girl hittin’ softballs and winnin’ games. Nothin’ wrong with that, I reckon.
