This here dfx lol, you know, it’s a big deal, I tell ya. It ain’t like plantin’ taters or feedin’ the chickens. It’s somethin’ else, somethin’ them young’uns are all riled up about.

Now, I don’t rightly know all the ins and outs of it. But I hear them talkin’, my grandkids, you see. They talk about dfx, this team, like they’re some kinda heroes. They play that League of Legends, that’s the game. And they play it good, real good, I reckon.
- They got all these fancy words for it, too.
- “Stats,” they say.
- And “matchups.”
- And “builds.”
Sounds like a whole lotta nonsense to me, but they seem to know what they’re doin’. Like when they was talkin’ ’bout puttin’ up a new barn, got all them numbers and such. They make a big fuss about this dfx team’s “win rate.” Means how much they win, I suppose. This lol is somethin’, I just know it’s important to them.
They say this dfx was part of somethin’ bigger, somethin’ called “Echo Fox.” Sounds like a wild animal to me. They say it was a “sister team,” like two girls in the same family. That much I understand. These teams, they compete, try to be the best at this League of Legends.
My grandkids, they get all glued to that computer screen, watchin’ these games. They say there’s these things called “champions” in the game. And these dfx fellas, they know how to use ’em, these champions. They got all these special moves and whatnot. It’s like watchin’ a magic show, ‘cept I don’t see no rabbits comin’ outta hats.
I seen ’em lookin’ at these websites, too. One’s called “*,” I think. Another one’s “*.” They’re always lookin’ at numbers on there. They tell me it’s important to be good at this lol, got to be on top of the game, literally. I guess it’s like knowin’ when to plant corn, gotta watch the weather and the moon. These young’uns, they watch these “stats” like a hawk.
They even got this other thing, “*.” Sounds like some kinda smart fella, maybe one of them teachers from the schoolhouse. They use it to watch these League of Legends games live, they say. Like watchin’ a horse race, but on the computer. My grandkids, they tell me all about these players, their names and what they do.

And these websites, they tell you all about the “champions,” too. Which ones are good, which ones ain’t so good. Like pickin’ the best seeds for your garden. You want the ones that’ll grow big and strong. This whole dfx lol thing, it’s got a lot of movin’ parts, that’s for sure. This dfx team had to make sure they were good, I reckon, like keeping your tools sharp.
They say this dfx team, they played in somethin’ called the “Challenger” series. Like a big tournament, I guess. Like the county fair, but with computers instead of prize-winnin’ pigs. It’s real important to them, this lol game, just like it was to put food on the table.
I remember when my youngest boy, bless his heart, he got real good at playin’ checkers. Won a whole bunch of ribbons at the fair. This dfx lol, it’s kinda like that, I reckon. A competition. A way to prove you’re the best. Gotta put in the work and know what you are doin’, gotta be the best at this lol, they tell me.
These young’uns, they got their own way of doin’ things. But some things are always the same. Hard work, dedication, that’s what it takes. Whether you’re plantin’ crops or playin’ this League of Legends, you gotta put your heart into it. This dfx team did just that, I suppose.
I may not understand all this dfx lol stuff. But I know one thing, just like back in my day, if you want to win, gotta know the game better than the next fella, put in the hours, and work real hard. And these dfx fellas, from what I hear, they sure did that, playin’ that League of Legends. They did somethin’ special, I reckon.
