Alright, so the other day I was thinking, who are the greatest players of the Milwaukee Bucks? I mean, this team has had some serious talent over the years, right? So I decided to dig in and find out. I started by looking up the Bucks’ history. Man, they’ve been around for a while, and they’ve had some intense rivalries, especially with the Boston Celtics. These two teams have battled it out in the playoffs so many times, and even their regular season games are a big deal. It’s pretty cool that both teams have snagged a title recently, which just adds more drama to the whole thing.
First thing I did was hit up the internet to see what people were saying. I found some interesting stuff about Oscar Robertson, apparently, he’s the only Buck to wear the #1. People were calling him the best basketball player they ever saw. That’s a huge statement! I made a note to check him out more later.
Then I stumbled upon some articles from like, 2013. Even back then, people were talking about Giannis Antetokounmpo. It’s crazy to think he’s been with the Bucks for 10 years now. His average points per game in Milwaukee is 22.3. That’s insane! I jotted down his name and moved on.
I also came across a list of the top 10 best Milwaukee Bucks of all time. Glenn Robinson was number 10 on that list. I remember watching him play; he was pretty good. I added his name to my notes, but I was really curious about who else made the cut.
Of course, Giannis was on every list I found. He’s led the Bucks to their second title in 2021 and has a ton of awards. It’s clear he’s a big deal. I highlighted his name in my notes because he’s definitely one of the greatest.

So, after all this digging, it’s pretty obvious that Giannis and Oscar Robertson are at the top of the list. But there are so many other great players who have worn the Bucks uniform. I need to do more research to get the full picture, but this was a great start. It’s awesome to see how much talent has come through Milwaukee over the years, and it makes me even more excited for what’s to come!
