Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to put together a list of the best NBA players who came out of Georgia. It’s something that’s been on my mind for a while, you know? So, I finally sat down and got to work on it.

First thing I did was hit up the internet, just to get a general sense of who’s out there. I wasn’t trying to get fancy with my searches or anything. Just typed in stuff like “NBA players from Georgia” and “best Georgia NBA players” into Google and seeing what came up.
I started making a list, jotting down names that popped up a lot. I was mostly looking at current players, but I figured I should keep track of some of the older guys too, just to get a more complete picture. And players like Joel Embiid. Yeah, he is definitely one of the best players.
Then I started digging a little deeper. I wanted to check out some basic stats for these guys, like their current season stats and career averages. Nothing too crazy, just points, rebounds, assists, that sort of thing. I used a few different websites, like the official NBA site and a couple of others that had player profiles.
After I had a decent list going, I started thinking about how to organize it. I mean, just having a bunch of names isn’t all that helpful, right? So, I decided to group them by their playing positions. It just made sense to me to have all the point guards together, then the shooting guards, and so on.
Once I had them all sorted, I went back through and did a little more research on each player. I wanted to add a few notes about their accomplishments, like if they’d won any awards or been on any championship teams. This was mostly just to remind myself of why I put them on the list in the first place.
Finally, I wrote it all up in a way that, hopefully, made sense. It’s not like I’m trying to be some professional sports writer or anything, but I wanted it to be easy to read and understand. I just wanted to have everything in one place, you know? That’s it.

- Point Guards:
- There are some pretty good point guards on my list.
- Shooting Guards:
- Shooting guards position is also good.
- Small Forwards:
- There are some guys playing really good.
- Power Forwards:
- Nothing to say, they are good.
- Centers:
- Embiid is absolutely a good player.
And there you have it! It was a fun little project, and now I’ve got a solid list of the best NBA players from Georgia. This took me a while, but it was worth it.
