That AfreecaTV PUBG, oh, I heard my grandson talking about it all the time. He’s always glued to that darn screen. That AfreecaTV PUBG League, sounds like some big shot thing, huh?

He says it’s a game, PUBG, you know, that shooting game. Lots of folks playing it, shooting each other. I don’t get it, but the young’uns sure love it. They play in teams, my grandson says, called squads or something. Like them army men.
This AfreecaTV, I reckon it’s like that TV box we got, but on the computer. You can watch them play that PUBG game on it, he says. Lots of folks watching, like a big ol’ show. He said the official name is AfreecaTV PUBG League, or APL for short. Sounds fancy, huh?
- That APL thing, it’s like a big competition, I reckon.
- They play in teams, like I said, these squads.
- It’s that PUBG game, the shooting one.
- You can watch it on that AfreecaTV.
- It’s got seasons, like the weather, that AfreecaTV PUBG League 2022 Season 1 or AfreecaTV PUBG League 2022 Season 2.
My grandson, he’s always going on about these teams. He knows all their names. He says they got these big matches, all shooting at each other. I don’t know how he keeps track of it all. There is this AfreecaTV PUBG League 2022 Season 1 he talked about for a long time. Then it’s AfreecaTV PUBG League 2022 Season 2, I can barely keep up with all these seasons.
He watches these things they call VODs. I guess it’s like watching the matches again after they’re done. And streams, that’s like watching it live, he says. Like when we used to watch the wrestling on Saturday nights, but on the computer.
They got these, whatchamacallits, rosters. Like a list of who’s on each team. My grandson, he can name them all. I don’t know how he remembers. He says there’s this big prize, lots of money, for the team that wins. That AfreecaTV PUBG League Season 2, he said the prize is big money! Like winning the lottery, almost. And that Finals APL 2022 S2 PUBG, he kept talking about the results and VODs or something.
All this AfreecaTV PUBG League stuff, it’s a whole other world, I tell ya. Back in my day, we played outside. We didn’t have these fancy computer games. But the young’uns love it, so I guess it’s alright.

That APL, it’s like the big leagues for that PUBG game, my grandson says. Only the best players get to play in it. They gotta be real good at that shooting. He says they play in the third person, whatever that means. They see their little man on the screen, running around. He called it the main mode. Sounds important.
Sometimes I ask him, “Why you watching all that shooting? Ain’t you got better things to do?” He just laughs and says, “Grandma, you don’t understand. It’s AfreecaTV PUBG League!” I guess I don’t. But as long as he’s happy, that’s all that matters.
This PUBG, it’s like a whole different language. They got all these special words for things. I try to keep up, but it’s hard. That AfreecaTV, it’s like their TV station for this game, I guess. And that APL, that’s the big show, the main event.
I still don’t understand why they like watching all that shooting. But I guess it’s like how we used to watch the boxing matches. Same thing, just on a computer screen instead of a TV. They get all excited about that AfreecaTV PUBG League.
Well, I guess that’s all I know about that AfreecaTV PUBG League. It’s a lot to take in for an old lady like me. But my grandson, he loves it. And that’s what counts. He even tried to show me how to play that PUBG once. I couldn’t make heads or tails of it. I’ll stick to my knitting, thank you very much.
