Alright, listen up, y’all. We’re gonna talk about some basketball players, the good ones, the white fellas who can really toss that ball around. You know, the ones that make you say, “Well, butter my biscuits, that boy can play!”
First off, gotta mention this Nikola Jokić fella. Folks say he’s somethin’ special. I ain’t seen a whole lot of his games myself, what with the chickens needin’ feedin’ and all, but they say he’s a big fella, real smart-like on the court. Knows how to pass the ball, get his teammates involved. He’s young too, only 29 or so. Folks keep tellin’ me he’s one of the best, white or not.
Then there’s this Luka Dončić kid. Now, he’s a fancy one. Got all them moves and passes that make you dizzy just watchin’. He’s European, I think. Don’t matter much where he’s from, long as he can play ball, right? They say he’s real good at scorin’ too, which is mighty important in this here basketball game.
And don’t forget about that Larry Bird fella. Now, he’s an old-timer, but folks still talk about him like he was the best thing since sliced bread. They say he was tough as nails, could shoot the lights out, and wasn’t afraid of nobody. He’s like 67 now, probably can’t run too fast anymore, but back in his day, he was somethin’ else. Folks voted him as a real legend, so he must have been good.
- Some other fellas they mention are Joe Harris, Alex Caruso, and Kevin Huerter. I don’t know much about them, but they say they are good shooters. Can’t have too many of those on a team, I reckon.
- There’s also this Ricard Rubio Vives, plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers. He’s a point guard, which means he’s the one who brings the ball up the court and tells everyone what to do, I guess.
Now, I hear tell that most of the fellas in the NBA are black. That’s fine and dandy, ain’t nothin’ wrong with that. But it’s good to see some white fellas doin’ well too. They say only about 17 percent of the players are white. So, these fellas we’re talkin’ about, they’re kinda special in a way.
Basketball is a tough game, you know. You gotta be tall, gotta be fast, gotta be strong. And you gotta be smart too. These fellas, they got all that and more. They can shoot the ball, pass the ball, dribble the ball. They make it look easy, but I bet it ain’t. I tried dribblin’ once, nearly tripped over my own feet!
They got all sorts of numbers they use in basketball, like how often they score, how many times they lose the ball, how many rebounds they get. I don’t pay much attention to that stuff. I just like to see ’em runnin’ and jumpin’ and puttin’ that ball in the hoop. It’s excitin’!
And speaking of tall, there’s this fella, Gheorghe Mureșan. He’s Romanian, and he’s real tall, like seven foot seven inches tall! Can you imagine that? He musta towered over everyone on the court. I reckon he could reach the hoop without even jumpin’!
So, there you have it. Some of the best white basketball players in the NBA, accordin’ to what I hear tell. They’re talented fellas, no doubt about it. They work hard, they play hard, and they make the game fun to watch. Even an old lady like me can appreciate that.
Now, some folks might argue about who’s the best, and that’s fine. Everyone’s got their own opinion. But one thing’s for sure, these white players have made their mark on the game. They’ve proved that talent knows no color, and that hard work and dedication can take you far.
And that’s all I gotta say about that. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on them chickens again.
