Okay, so I was digging around for some old-school NFL stuff, and I got totally sucked into trying to find the complete 1990 Raiders roster. I mean, this was a pretty iconic team, right? Bo Jackson, Marcus Allen, Howie Long… the list goes on. But finding a complete list? Surprisingly tricky!
I started with the usual, you know, just general searching. I figured a dedicated sports site would have it, or maybe a Raiders fan page. I found bits and pieces – some of the star players, obviously – but I wanted the whole thing.
The Hunt Begins
I started by opening my browser. I typed the team name into the search engine and started browsing.
- I opened several pages, but there were always discrepancies. One site would be missing a few players.
- I compared the search results, cross-referencing whenever I could.
I have to find a way to search the players’ names individually.
Piece by Piece
Then it hit me. I needed to get more granular. I started looking up individual players I knew were on the team, and then seeing if that led me to other, less famous names. I was basically building it from the ground up, one player at a time.
I spent a good chunk of time doing this. It was like a puzzle. Finally, I got it! I’m pretty confident I’ve got a complete, accurate list of the 1990 Los Angeles Raiders roster. A pretty rewarding search.
