So, I got this weird urge the other day to look up the 2006 Seattle Seahawks roster. Don’t ask me why, it just popped into my head. Maybe it was all the Super Bowl talk, I don’t know. Anyway, I figured, why not? I used to be a huge Hawks fan back in the day.
First, I fired up my trusty old computer. I remember it being pretty slow, so I went to make myself a cup of * took a few seconds, but I finally got the browser open.
Digging Through the Internet
Next, I typed in “2006 Seattle Seahawks roster” into the search bar. You know, keeping it simple. Boom! A bunch of websites popped up.
I clicked on the first result that looked legit. I think it might have been the official NFL site, or maybe Wikipedia, can not quite remember. The page loaded, and there it was – the whole darn roster!
Remembering the Glory Days
I started scrolling through the names, and man, did it bring back memories. I saw Matt Hasselbeck at quarterback, of course. What a stud. Then there was Shaun Alexander, the league MVP that year! I practically jumped out of my chair remembering his crazy runs.
I kept going down the list. I spotted guys like Lofa Tatupu on defense – that guy was a tackling machine! And Darrell Jackson, a really solid receiver. I remember him making some clutch catches.

After spending a good hour just browsing and reminiscing, I closed the browser. It was fun to revisit that team. They were so good that year, even though they didn’t win the Super Bowl. It made me want to dig out my old Seahawks jersey!
