Okay, so I was trying to find the Saints 2016 roster, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey. First, I hit up my usual sports news sites. I figured, “Easy peasy, they’ll have it right there.” Boy, was I wrong. I got current rosters, stats, highlight reels… everything but the 2016 roster.
Digging Deeper
So, I remembered, some websites, they archive old information. I scoured through what I could find, hoping they’d have some kind of “blast from the past” section. I spent a good amount of time clicking through menus, sifting through articles, and… still, nothing. Talk about frustrating!
Hitting the Search Engines (Again!)
Alright, time to get specific with my searches. I typed in all sorts of combinations: “Saints 2016 full roster,” “New Orleans Saints 2016 team list,” “Who played for the Saints in 2016?” – you name it, I searched it. It was like pulling teeth, I am telling you.
Finally getting some info
With a little help from searching the web, I could put together some infromation, though it was a little tedious, but I could finally get it pieced together.
- Drew Brees, still leading the charge at quarterback.
- Mark Ingram, the dependable on the ground.
- Willie Snead, making those crucial catches.
- The big guys like, Jairus Byrd, Cameron Jordan and, Kenny Vaccaro.
It’s funny how much effort it takes to find something that should be readily available. After I was done with it, I was able to get the informatin I needed though.
