Okay, so I was trying to get a hold of the Texans’ 2012 roster, you know, just for kicks. I’m a big football fan, and sometimes I like to dig into the past and see who played for my favorite teams back in the day. It was a pretty good year for the Texans, so I was curious.

First, I just did a quick Google search. You know, typed in “Texans 2012 roster” and hoped for the best. Surprisingly, I didn’t find a clean, easy list right away. I mean, there were some news articles and stuff about the team, but nothing that just laid it all out.
Then I thought, “Hey, maybe I should go to some of the big sports websites.” So, I checked out a couple of those, but still, nothing great. I found some stuff about individual players, but no full team list. It was getting a little annoying, honestly.
After that, I started digging deeper into some forums. You know those places where people talk about sports all day long? I figured someone there must have talked about the 2012 Texans roster. I spent a good chunk of time scrolling through old posts, hoping to stumble upon what I needed. Finally, I found a few threads that were talking about that very thing!
There were a lot of names thrown around in those forum threads, but they were all scattered in different posts. So I started copying and pasting. It was a bit tedious, but I grabbed every player name I could find mentioned in those discussions. I ended up with a pretty long list, but it was messy. I had to sort them into positions – quarterback, running back, you get the picture.
- Quarterbacks: I found the names Matt Schaub and T.J. Yates.
- Running Backs: Arian Foster, Ben Tate, and Justin Forsett were the ones people were talking about.
- Wide Receivers: There was Andre Johnson, of course, and then Kevin Walter and DeVier Posey.
- Tight Ends: Owen Daniels was the main guy, along with Garrett Graham.
- Offensive Line: This one was tough, but I managed to piece together Duane Brown, Chris Myers, and Wade Smith.
- Defensive Line: J.J. Watt was the big name, naturally. Then there was Antonio Smith and Connor Barwin.
- Linebackers: I saw Brian Cushing and Brooks Reed mentioned a bunch.
- Defensive Backs: Johnathan Joseph and Kareem Jackson were the cornerbacks I found. For safeties, it looked like Glover Quin and Danieal Manning.
- Special Teams: I even got the kicker, Shayne Graham, and the punter, Donnie Jones.
So, yeah, it took some work, but I finally put together a pretty good list of the 2012 Texans roster. It wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be, but it was kind of fun to go through all those old forum posts and piece it together myself. I guess sometimes you gotta do a little detective work to get what you’re looking for. Felt pretty good to finally have that roster in front of me.
