Okay, here’s my sharing about the 2002 Miami Dolphins roster, hope you guys like it:
Man, it was a long time ago. I was trying to put together a full list of the 2002 Miami Dolphins players. A friend of mine, he’s a huge Dolphins fan, and he asked me if I could find this old roster for him. So I was like, “Sure, why not?” I mean, how hard could it be, right?
I started by looking for the roster. I remember there was this website called “footballdb”, I think? I spent some time on that site, and guess what? They actually had a page on their site with names like Robert Baker, David Bowens, and a bunch of others, like 55 players. That’s a lot of names. Then I realized that this is a big job, finding all these players and their info. I started to write down every player’s name and their position, just copying them from the website.
Then, I started digging for more, and found another site, maybe it is the official one? It got the whole package – roster, stats, schedule, even the team draftees. It’s like a gold mine for football fans! I checked the players’ names and their positions, making sure everything matches up. There were some players I hadn’t seen on the first site, so I added them to my list. It is really a mess to find the players, man. I need to check every site to make sure.
I also did some searches about the 2002 season for the Dolphins. Seems like it was their 33rd year in the NFL, can you believe it? They had 9 wins and 7 losses that year, not too bad. I found out that their coach was Dave Wannstedt, that’s a name I haven’t heard in a while. I added these little bits of info to my notes. It felt like I was putting together a puzzle, piece by piece.
And I remember there is a website, “*” or something like that. It’s all about the Miami Dolphins. I spent a lot of time there too. They had tons of stuff. I found a few more names and some interesting stories about the team. I love this site.
After checking all these sites and notes, I finally got a complete list of the players. It was a lot of work, but I did it. I organized the list by position, like quarterbacks, running backs, and all that. The quarterback was Jay Fiedler, and the running back was Ricky Williams. Chris Chambers was the wide receiver. I made sure to include all the other players too. So now I have this full 2002 Miami Dolphins roster. It’s pretty cool to look at it and see all the names. Here is what I got:

2002 Miami Dolphins Roster
- Quarterback:
- Jay Fiedler
- Running Back:
- Ricky Williams
- Wide Receiver:
- Chris Chambers
- Robert Baker
- Linebacker:
- David Bowens
- Defensive Tackle:
- Tim Bowens
- Defensive End:
- Rob Burnett
And many other players. It was a long day, but I am so glad I did it, the roster is now solid. I sent it to my friend, and he was super happy. It’s always fun to take a trip down memory lane, especially when it comes to football!
It is really not easy to find those players’ names. It took a while, but hey, I learned a lot about the 2002 Dolphins. Now I know who played, what their positions were, and some fun facts about the season. And my friend is happy, so that’s all that matters. I hope this helps anyone else who’s looking for this old roster.
