Alright, so I wanted to figure out who the tallest soccer player of all time is. It’s a random thought, I know, but I got curious. First thing I did was just a quick Google search, you know, just to get a general idea.
Start Simple
I typed in “tallest soccer player” and started skimming through the results. Found a couple of names that kept popping up. I saw the name “Simon Bloch Jorgensen” and that he’s like 6’11” or 2.10 meters, and also plays as a goalkeeper. That’s ridiculously tall! Then there was also “Kristof Van Hout”, almost as tall, about 6’10”, also a goalkeeper.
Digging Deeper
Next, I went to check out some sports websites. They had articles about the tallest players and stuff. Reading through those, I confirmed that these two, Jorgensen and Van Hout, were mentioned as the top contenders. I also noticed that they’re both goalkeepers. Makes sense, right? Height’s a big advantage in that position.
