Today I was messing around with stuff about soccer players, specifically those from Brazil who played for Benfica. It got me thinking, “How can I get a list of all those Brazilian players?” So, I started digging around.
First, I did a bunch of Google searches, trying different phrases like “Brazilian players in Benfica history” and “List of Benfica foreign players.” It took a bit of time, but I stumbled upon some websites that had some good info.
Then, I started visiting these different websites, reading through the articles and lists of players. Some sites just mentioned a few big names, but others had more detailed lists, which was helpful. I took notes on each player, like their names, positions, and when they played for Benfica.
After checking out a few different sources, I began compiling all the names I found into one big list. Some names kept popping up on different sites, so I figured those were the important ones. I made sure to include as much info as I could about each player, like how many games they played and if they were particularly famous.

Once I had my list, I went back to those websites to double-check my info and see if I missed anyone. I also looked up some of the players individually to learn more about them and their time at Benfica. It was interesting to read about their careers and how they did at the club.

It took a few hours of searching and organizing, but now I have a pretty solid list of Brazilian players who played for Benfica. It’s not perfect, but it’s a good start, and it was a fun little project to work on!
