Hey there, young’uns! Let me tell you somethin’ about them Seahawks running backs. Those boys, they sure can run, like a greased piglet at the county fair. I seen a lot of ’em come and go over the last 10 years, some good, some, well, not so good. But that’s football, ain’t it? You win some, you lose some. Just like life, I reckon.

Now, you talk about Seahawks running backs last 10 years, you gotta start with that Marshawn Lynch. That boy, he was a beast! Strong as an ox, he was. He’d just run right through them other fellas like they weren’t even there. He was with the Seahawks from around 2010 to 2019, I believe. He’s up there with the best of ’em, that’s for sure. He is one of the top 4 Seahawks running backs last 10 years, if you ask me. That boy had a good run, and he sure knew how to find the end zone.
Then you got this young fella, Kenneth Walker III. He’s the new one. He’s been hurt lately, that calf of his, ain’t been right. But when he’s playin’, he’s somethin’ else. Fast as a jackrabbit, that one. The Seahawks running backs need him. He’s a good runner, that Walker, but health, well, that’s somethin’ you can’t always control, can ya?
And who can forget about Shaun Alexander? He played before, from 2000 to 2007. That boy, he could run! He’s got the most yards for the Seahawks, ever! Over 9,000, they say. That’s a whole lotta runnin’, let me tell ya. He’s number one, that Shaun Alexander. A real good’un.
This Zach Charbonnet, he’s been fillin’ in. Doin’ alright, too. He is a good backup, that Charbonnet, filling in for that Kenneth Walker. He ain’t quite the same, but he holds his own. That’s important, to have a good backup. Never know when you gonna need ’em.
Now, let’s see, who else? Oh, that Chris Warren. He was somethin’. Played back in the ’90s, from 1990 to 1997. He is second in line, under that Alexander. Got himself over 6,700 yards. Not too shabby, huh? Another good runner, that Chris Warren. They had some good ones back in the day.
Then there was Curt Warner. He played in the ’80s, I reckon, 1983 to 1989. He’s number three on the list, they tell me. Another good one. That Curt Warner, he did okay. He got over 6000 yards. Not as good as Alexander, but not bad, not bad.

These Seahawks running backs, they got a lot of history. They been around a long time, since 1976. That’s a lot of football. 49 years! They won a Super Bowl, too. Just one, but still, that’s somethin’ special. Winning ain’t easy.
- Shaun Alexander, that’s the top dog.
- Then Chris Warren, he’s next.
- Curt Warner, he’s right behind.
- And Marshawn Lynch, don’t forget him!
They play in that big stadium, used to be called the Kingdome, now it’s CenturyLink Field, I think. Big place. Lots of folks go to watch ’em play. It’s loud in there. Them Seahawks fans, they love their team.
So, yeah, them Seahawks running backs, they’re somethin’ else. They run and they run and they run. That’s what they do. It is a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it, right? They been doing it for a long time, these Seahawks running backs last 10 years. And they’ll keep on doin’ it, long as they can, I suppose. The team’s been around since ’76, that’s a long time to be playin’ football.
You gotta be tough to play football. Gotta be strong. And fast. And you gotta be able to take a hit. Them boys, they get hit a lot. But they keep gettin’ up. That’s what matters. Just like in life, you know, you get knocked down, you gotta get back up. You gotta keep on runnin’. Keep on goin’. Just like them Seahawks running backs. They ain’t quitters. They’re hard workers.
Well, that’s about all I know about them Seahawks running backs last 10 years. It’s been interestin’, watchin’ ’em all these years. Hope they keep on runnin’ for a long time to come. It’s fun to watch. They’re good boys, most of ’em. And they sure can run like the wind. The most important thing to remember is these Seahawks running backs are tough. Just like life, you gotta be tough to keep going. They do it every Sunday. You should too.
