Well, let me tell you, I ain’t no fancy city slicker, but I sure do love watching them basketball games on the TV. And you know what makes it even better? Them fellas talking about the game, the best NBA broadcasters, you know? They really get you into it. I don’t know all them fancy words they use, but I sure do enjoy listening.

Now, I heard some folks say that Dell Curry and Eric Collins, the ones who talk about the Hornets, they’re the best darn NBA broadcasters around. I don’t know about all that, but they sure do get excited! Makes me wanna jump up and shout, even though my old knees ain’t what they used to be.
There’s this one fella, Mike Breen, they say he’s called more NBA Finals than anyone. Nineteen of ’em! Can you believe that? He must know a thing or two about basketball, I reckon. They say he’s gonna be doing his thing again this season. Good for him! I like that Mike Breen. He sure makes it sound important when he talks the best NBA broadcasters game.
And then there’s a bunch of other fellas, Ryan Ruocco, Dave Pasch, and Mark Jones. They’re all good too. That’s a whole lot of yapping about basketball, ain’t it? But I love it. They make a plain old game sound like the most exciting thing in the world! I think they are some of the best NBA broadcasters.
Then, that Michael Grady, he’s gonna join in this year. I’ll have to see how he does. It takes a special kind of fella to talk about them games. You gotta make it exciting, you know? Keep folks on the edge of their seats, even when the game’s a real blowout.
Now, I heard someone talking about how much money these fellas make. I don’t rightly know, and it ain’t my business, but I bet it’s a pretty penny. Talking for a living, that sounds like a dream job, don’t it? All that money for doing something fun. Well, good for them, I say. They must be the best NBA broadcasters or they wouldn’t pay them so much.
I saw something about podcasts, too. It is new to me. They say you can listen to folks talk about basketball on these podcast things. Some fella named Nic Zammit hosts one. There are a whole bunch of others too. Too much for me to remember. Maybe you young folks like those podcasts. Me, I prefer the TV. I like to see the game while I hear them talking, especially when the best NBA broadcasters get me excited.

There are some other names I heard too – Kevin Harlan, Ian Eagle, Brian Anderson. Lordy, there are a lot of these fellas, ain’t there? They all sound like they know what they’re talking about, though. I guess that’s what matters, right? Knowing your basketball and making it fun for folks like me to listen to. They have to be some of the best NBA broadcasters in the whole wide world.

Someone was talking about a big ol’ slate of games, eleven of ’em! That’s a whole lot of basketball. And they were saying something about numbers, 243.5 and 208.5. I don’t know what that’s all about, probably some fancy betting stuff. Don’t matter to me, I just like watching the game. And listening to them fellas talk about it. The best NBA broadcasters make all the difference. It’s better than the old radio.
You know, it’s something you can enjoy all year round. It’s always there. You can always find a game and somebody talking about it. It’s like an old friend, always there for you. These fellas talking on TV, they become part of your life, almost. You get used to their voices. The best NBA broadcasters become your friends, kind of.
So, yeah, I may not know all the fancy terms and all that, but I sure do love listening to them best NBA broadcasters. They make the game more fun, more exciting. And that’s what it’s all about, ain’t it? Having a good time. And them fellas, they sure do help with that. They’re the best, every last one of ’em. Well, at least most of them are pretty good, I suppose.
