Alright, listen up, y’all. I’m gonna tell ya ’bout this here… uh… thingy, this “Lid-wig Tar-ick In-vi-tay-shun-al 2.” Sounds fancy, don’t it? Like somethin’ them city folk would do.

What’s this “Lid-wig Tar-ick” thing anyway?
Well, from what I gather, it’s some kind of game-fightin’ shindig. These young’uns, they get together and play this here “Valor-ant” game. Don’t ask me what that is, looks like a bunch of shootin’ and runnin’ around to me. Anyways, they have this big to-do, a “tour-na-ment,” they call it, and folks watch ’em play.
This here “In-vi-tay-shun-al 2,” that means it ain’t the first time they done this. They done it once before, and now they’re doin’ it again. Happened back in January, on the 13th and 14th, just after the New Year. They even had some kinda fancy prize money, a “prize pool,” for the winners. Don’t know how much, but I bet it was enough to buy a whole lotta chickens!
- When did it happen? January 13th and 14th, 2024.
- What game did they play? Valor-ant, whatever that is.
- Was there money involved? Yep, a “prize pool” for the winners.
Now, they had these teams, groups of youngsters all playin’ together. They call ’em “rosters,” sounds like somethin’ you’d use to cook a chicken, but I guess it means somethin’ different here. And these teams, they battled it out. They say it was a “double-elimination bracket.” Sounds complicated, like tryin’ to figure out how many eggs a hen will lay in a week. Basically, if you lose twice, you’re out. And they had some of the best teams from, uh… “NA region.” That’s like, up north somewhere, I reckon.
Where can you watch this stuff?
Well, they got these things called “VODs” and “streams.” Sounds like somethin’ you find in a creek, but it ain’t. It’s like, they record the game-fightin’ and you can watch it later, or watch it live as it happens. On the computer, I guess. Or maybe one of them fancy phones. I ain’t got no use for that stuff, give me a good ol’ radio any day.

Why should you care?
Well, to be honest, I don’t know why you should care. I sure don’t. But these young’uns, they seem to like it. They get all worked up watchin’ these fellas shoot at each other on the screen. It’s beyond me, I tell ya. But hey, to each their own, I always say. If they ain’t hurtin’ nobody, let ’em have their fun.
So, what’s the big deal?
From what I hear, this “Lid-wig Tar-ick In-vi-tay-shun-al 2” was a pretty big deal, at least for them folks who like this “Valor-ant” game. They had top teams, big prize money, and lots of folks watchin’. It’s all about competition, see? Like who can grow the biggest watermelon, but with shootin’ games instead. It’s just the way young folks these days like to have their fun, I guess.
And that’s about all I know about this here “Lid-wig Tar-ick In-vi-tay-shun-al 2.” Like I said, it ain’t my cup of tea, but maybe you young’uns will find it interestin’. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my chickens.
In short, this tournament was a big deal for Valorant fans, with top teams battling it out for a prize. You can find match results, videos, and team information online if you’re interested. But for me? I’ll stick to watchin’ the corn grow.

And one more thing, if anyone asks, you didn’t hear this from some old lady. You heard it from a… uh… a reliable source. Yeah, that’s it. A reliable source.
